Battery Warranty

Terms & Conditions

  1. The manufacturer provides warranty for new batteries for 12 months from the date of purchase for passenger vehicles, and 6 months from the date of purchase  for commercial vehicles and generators below 400KVA capacity.
  2. Should the battery fail due to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, the battery will be replaced free of charge and the new warranty period will be the remaining time from the original purchase date. 

Manufacterer’s Warranty

Warranty does not cover the following:

  • Discharged batteries that can be charged and returned to service.
  • Damage due to charging system failure, negligence, abuse, accident or improper installation.
  • Damage due to wrong application.
  • Any abuse of the warranty card.

Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Ensure your warranty card has all the details filled in.
  2. Ensure the claiming battery is installed in your vehicle.
  3. Bring your vehicle with the battery and  warranty card to the @The Wheel retail center where the purchase was made so that the vehicle charging system can be checked.

Important Notes

  • Battery recharging is not covered under warranty and may necessitate payment for this service.
  • The right to determine the adequacy of the warranty claim rests solely with the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s authorised representative.
